Headshot & Event Photography From The End of 2012
The end of 2012 had my camera out of video mode for a few unexpected photography assignments. As I’m always eager to improve my creative skills, photographing an exquisite dinner, taking headshots for a boutique modeling agency, and capturing the festivities of an annual holiday party were all challenges I fully embraced (and had a lot of fun doing). The following photos are a small selection from those roles. Cheers to 2013! -George
George Goes To His First Wedding…and Films It
A few weeks I had the good fortune of helping Craig and Nicole Flood of Watertown Films record a wedding just outside Seattle, Washington. I operated cameras, setup lighting, and helped with a few other tasks. Craig and Nicole did an amazing job editing the footage into a beautiful story about Dane and Erica’s wedding day. Enjoy the film : ) -George

A Day in San Francisco with Wanderlust Festival
On September 23rd 2012 I was in lovely San Francisco for Wanderlust Festival’s Yoga in the City. The people were super friendly, the burritos were delicious, and the yoga was top notch. I had my camera, a rented Canon 14mm lense, my monopod, and a backpack. A few hours of footage got widdled down to this two minute video. Enjoi

George at Whistler Wanderlust Festival 2012 (w/VIDEO)
I just got back to Portland after an amazing couple of days at Whistler Wanderlust Festival. Once again, I was super fortunate to be asked to shoot photos for the event.
When I wasn’t taking pictures, I was able to record a few yogis and yoginis talking about what Wanderlust means to them. Here’s a 90 second video I created that recaps the festival. Enjoy

George at Tahoe Wanderlust Festival 2012 (w/VIDEO)
I arrived home last night from five of the most amazing days I’ve had this summer. Yoga, music, dancing, slacklining, swimming, paddle board yoga, and hanging out with some incredibly inspiring people were the main activities I was fortunate to partake in at Wanderlust Festival Squaw. Enjoy a video I created with my good friend, yogini, and blogger, Hannah Bechard. Namasté -George
Interview with Bibi McGill (Part 2)
I just uploaded this 4 minute clip featuring Bibi McGill talking about her experience and insights on taking personal retreats. For those of you not familiar with her work, Bibi is a world class yoga teacher (she’ll be teaching at Wanderlust Festival this Saturday), lead guitarist and musical director for Beyoncé, and founder of Bibi Kale Chips. Bibi also happens to live a few minutes from my house here in Portland, Oregon.
Bibi is co-hosting a week long getaway in Kauai, Hawaii with Pat Johnson and Victoria Trabosh this upcoming September. Details about the retreat can be found here. Enjoy the clip

Interview with Bibi McGill (Part 1)
Today I conducted an interview with my friend, guitarist, musical director for Beyoncé, fellow Portland resident, and world class Yoga teacher, Bibi McGill. Here’s a short from the interview that I posted to her YouTube channel. The video features a SUBSCRIBE annotation that functions as a call to action at the end credits. This is the first time I’ve inserted a subscribe button into a video and I’m curious how it will affect Bibi’s subscription status (she currently has 73 subscribers on her channel). Enjoy the clip

5 Awesome Videos That I Discovered This June…
Matt is a 30 something video gamer turned world traveler who pioneered dancing-traveling videos. Matt’s got a bunch of videos of him dancing all over the world and does an amazing job recruiting local people to dance in the videos with him. Matt’s latest video has some behind the scenes and out-takes of his productions.
Neil Gaiman is an author and graphic novel illustrator from the UK. He has created some incredible work and has philosophies on life that resonate with me and are super inspiring.
I don’t know who linked this video to me, but the first time I watched it I definitely got teary eyed. The boy in the video is an amazing athlete and makes you question any excuses you may have for not pushing through challenges in your life.
I’m a massive fan of acrobatics, gymnastics, and anything and everything to do with incredible human strength. The Grynchenko brothers are two acrobats from Russia(?) who have been performing together since 1996. They are without a doubt one of the top duo performers in the world.
Not too much to say about this video that the title doesn’t already describe… Bon appetit & Cheers -George

I created this Facebook video with my good friend Bibi McGill. Bibi lives here in Portland, Oregon and is a health food evangelist, master yoga teacher, and world renowned musician (playing for the likes of Pink, Paulina Rubio, Le Re, and Beyonce). The purpose of the video is to enter Bibi in Wanderlust Festival’s Teacher Competition. Click this link and show some love to my good friend, mentor, and constant source of inspiration, Bibi McGill.
